General & Use:

F-2400 is a high molecular weight brominated polymeric flame retardant recommended for use in a broad range of thermoplastics, such as PBT, PET, polyamides (nylon 6 and 66), thermoplastic polyurethanes, alloys (e.g. PC/ABS) and styrenics (ABS, HIPS).

The high molecular weight of F-2400 and its chemical structure offer the following advantages:

  • High thermal stability and thermal ageing
  • Excellent processability
  • Non-blooming
  • High UV stability

F-2400 high molecular weight and its convenient softening range (tg =150°C), make F-2400 a carrier of choice for various flame retardant masterbatches.
