General & Use:
Ammonium Bromide is employed in the preparation of photographic emulsions and developers, in pharmaceutical preparations, as a wood preservative, for water treatment and as a flame retardant additive.
Flammability and Explosivity:
Non-flammable and non-explosive. On heating to sublimation, dissociates into ammonia and hydrogen bromide.
LD50 (oral, rat): 2714 mg/kg
Ammonium bromide is an irritant to the eyes. It is a non-irritant to intact skin.
Ammonium Bromide is supplied in 850 kg net triwalls holding 34 polyethylene bags of 25 kg net each and in 250kg, 400kg, 500kg big bags.
